A Canandaigua woman was taken to the hospital late Thursday night after deputies said her vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a ditch in the Town of East Bloomfield.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 11:34 p.m. to the area of Brace Road and Rice Road for the report of a single-vehicle crash with injuries.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies found a vehicle with heavy front-end damage in a ditch with airbags deployed. Investigators said the driver, identified as 26-year-old Meagan V. Tierney of Canandaigua, was able to get out of the vehicle on her own and complained of minor injuries.
Tierney was transported to Thompson Hospital by Canandaigua Ambulance. Farmington Fire Department assisted at the scene and removed the vehicle from the ditch.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
