A Macedon woman faces multiple charges after deputies say she was stopped early Thursday morning in the Town of Palmyra and found to be intoxicated behind the wheel.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested 28-year-old Jaeda Wright of Turner Road following a traffic stop around 1:32 a.m. Deputies said Wright was initially stopped after allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign.
According to the sheriff’s office, further investigation determined Wright was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI for having a blood alcohol content of .18% or higher, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to keep right, operating an uninspected vehicle, and refusing a preliminary breath test.
Deputies said Wright later voluntarily submitted to a chemical test at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, which allegedly showed a BAC of .18%. She is scheduled to appear in Palmyra Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
