The final week of the Wayne-Finger Lakes spring sports regular season rolled on Tuesday with explosive offensive performances, milestone victories, and dominant outings in the circle and on the lacrosse field.
Shane Coleman erupted for six goals and three assists in Wayne’s boys lacrosse win, while Penn Yan girls lacrosse edged Canandaigua behind four goals from Bailey Cooper.
In softball, Lyons piled up 20 hits in a rout of East Rochester, Mynderse powered past Palmyra-Macedon behind Kyah Lajewski’s grand slam and Hannah O’Brien’s three doubles, and Dundee/Bradford exploded for 16 hits as Adalyn Tham starred both at the plate and in the circle. On the baseball diamond, Cole Burnett struck out 15 to lead Lyons, while Wayne and Sodus each posted shutout victories to continue strong late-season stretches.

The Lions erupted for 11 runs in the second inning and finished with 20 hits in the win over the Bombers. Elise Wilkinson led the Lyons offense with a perfect 4-for-4 day, while Rylee Richardson earned the win in the circle after striking out eight over five innings and also drove in three runs. Gabby Aunkst, Peyton Bonnell, and Kamryn Bonnell each contributed three RBI, and Lydia Briggs and Megan Taylor added multi-hit performances.
