The final week of the regular season for Wayne-Finger Lakes spring sports kicked off Monday with explosive offensive performances, dominant pitching outings, and several huge individual stat lines across the region.
In girls lacrosse, Zoey Overslaugh erupted for eight goals for Newark/Midlakes, while Geneva’s offense rolled behind monster nights from Allison Marquart and Velia DeMaria.
On the softball diamond, Bella Youells fired a no-hitter for North Rose-Wolcott, Haley Young struck out 10 and ripped three doubles for Mynderse, and Ava Panek powered Waterloo with two triples, a home run and five RBI. Dundee/Bradford also stayed hot behind 11 strikeouts from Morgan Sutryk.

Dundee/Bradford showed patience at the plate with 13 walks, while Maeghan Sutryk drove in two runs and Reese Simpson drew three walks. Adalyn Tham recorded the save as the BraveScots also turned a double play defensively. For the Bombers, Addison Falsone homered and collected two hits, while Sydney Falsone also recorded two hits.
