Seneca Falls man charged with felony contempt, aggravated family offense

A Seneca Falls man was arrested last week on multiple felony charges tied to alleged violations of court orders, according to local police.

The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department said officers arrested 64-year-old Mark A. Asproules on April 30.

Police charged Asproules with four counts of first-degree criminal contempt, all class E felonies, along with one count of aggravated family offense, also a class E felony.

Authorities said Asproules was taken into custody without incident and transported to the police department for processing before being taken to the Seneca County Jail pending arraignment.

Additional details about the underlying allegations were not immediately released.
