More than 400 students will receive diplomas later this month as Keuka College prepares to celebrate the Class of 2026 during commencement ceremonies on its lakeside campus.
The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, on the lawn in front of Norton Chapel in Keuka Park.
Keuka College President Amy Storey will deliver remarks during the ceremony alongside Board of Trustees Chair Dr. Twyla J. Cummings. Two students — Akinlana Popoola, a marketing major from Cleveland, Ohio, and Madisyn Robinson, a management major from Morrisonville — are also slated to speak during commencement.
The college’s commencement weekend will begin Friday, May 15, with a private baccalaureate service for graduates. The ceremony will include student reflections and an address from Jeff Bray, associate director of athletics for facilities and alumni relations and an instructor in the college’s sports management program. Bray will also deliver the benediction during Saturday’s commencement ceremony.
College officials said commencement is open to the public and no tickets or registration are required. Seating on the chapel lawn will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visitors are being encouraged to arrive early and consider carpooling because parking may be limited due to recent wet weather conditions. Officials also warned that traffic around campus and nearby roadways could be heavier than normal before and after the ceremony.
The commencement ceremony will also be livestreamed through the college’s website for those unable to attend in person.
