Romulus warehouse packed with pieces from failed NYC mega food hall

Truckloads of high-end restaurant gear from a failed New York City hotspot are now sitting in a Finger Lakes warehouse, according to the Finger Lakes Times. TAGeX Brands hauled more than 60 loads from the shuttered Tin Building to its base in Romulus.

The $200 million project, created by celebrity chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, closed earlier this year after reportedly losing massive daily revenue. Now, everything from custom furniture to kitchen equipment is heading to auction.

The sale includes over 1,000 items, giving buyers a rare shot at pieces from a once-ambitious culinary destination. Bidding is already underway, with more inventory expected to roll out in the coming weeks.
