A Bath man was taken into custody Thursday on felony drug charges following a months-long investigation into crack cocaine sales in the village, police said.
Members of the Bath Police Department arrested Steven Q. Farrell, 41, around 2 p.m. April 23 on two sealed indictment warrants issued by Steuben County Court.
According to police, Farrell was indicted on two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, all class B felonies.
Investigators said the charges stem from an investigation into the possession and sale of crack cocaine in the Village of Bath dating back to January 2026.
Farrell was processed and transported to Steuben County Court, where he was arraigned and released under New York’s bail reform laws after approximately one hour in custody.
Police said Farrell is a two-time convicted felon currently under supervision by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. His parole status is tied to a prior Bath Police investigation that resulted in a 2022 conviction for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
