Ventosa Vineyards is introducing two new wines later this month with a public release event that also highlights new leadership in both its winemaking and culinary programs.
The Geneva winery will host a New Release Party on April 29 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in its La Vista e Bella ballroom, marking the debut of its 2025 Tocai Friulano and 2025 Semi-Sweet Riesling.
The event will also serve as the first showcase for new winemaker Joe Gonzalez, whose initial releases will be paired with small bites prepared by Executive Chef Chris Lotemple. Organizers say the food pairings are designed to complement the wines and highlight the winery’s broader hospitality experience.
Guests attending the event will be able to purchase the newly released wines at a discount, with 15% off for the general public and 20% off for wine club members.
While the release party takes place in the ballroom, Ventosa will continue its regular programming throughout the evening. That includes a buy-one-get-one happy hour from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and live music by Jon Lamanna from 5 to 8 p.m. in the main tasting room. Café Toscana will also remain open until 7 p.m.
Winery officials described the event as a milestone moment tied to new additions to the team and an evolving approach to its wine and food offerings.
