Live music performance set for April 26 at Three Bears in Ovid

A historic venue in Ovid will host a Sunday afternoon concert later this month, blending music with storytelling rooted in the region’s past.

Uncle Joe and Renee are scheduled to perform April 26 at 2 p.m. at the Three Bears complex, located at 7175 North Main Street.

The performance will feature a mix of fiddle, banjo, guitar, and vocals, with a focus on songs inspired by waterways, farms, and forests. Organizers say the show is designed to transport audiences back in time, reflecting the history and culture of the Finger Lakes.

The concert will take place inside the restored courthouse building at Three Bears, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The event is open to the public and is being promoted as a relaxed, community-focused afternoon of music and local history.
