A brand-new home in Montour Falls will soon welcome a family—and spotlight years of community support, according to The Odessa File.
Schuyler Habitat for Humanity will dedicate its sixth county home on May 3 at 2 p.m. The public can attend the ceremony at 208 Henry Street. The group will honor Weston Presbyterian Church for its long-standing financial backing.
Habitat selects partner families who live locally, help build their homes, show housing need, and qualify for low-interest mortgages. The nonprofit has built homes across Montour Falls, Watkins Glen, Hector, and Dix—and continues to seek community support.
