A yearlong investigation into suspected narcotics possession has resulted in felony charges against a Wayne County woman, authorities said.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Christina Steurrys following a traffic stop conducted April 29, 2025, in the Town of Sodus, where deputies recovered a substance believed to be crack cocaine.
The substance was submitted to a New York State Crime Laboratory for testing, which later confirmed it to be cocaine weighing 26.583 grams. Following those results, Steurrys was arrested April 9, 2026.
She was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for possessing one-half ounce or more, as well as third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Authorities said she was taken to the Wayne County Jail and scheduled to appear for centralized arraignment proceedings.
