One of the most action-packed slates of the spring featured dominant pitching, explosive scoring and a wild late-game rally. In softball, Lyons’ Keira Weber struck out 15 in a one-hit performance, while Palmyra-Macedon survived a furious 12-run comeback attempt from Gananda/Marion after building a massive early lead.
In girls lacrosse, Wayne’s Lauren Twist erupted for nine goals and four assists in a high-powered win, while Palmyra-Macedon saw Anabelle Grant score seven times to stay unbeaten. On the boys side, Penn Yan showcased its depth in a lopsided victory with multiple multi-goal scorers.
Elsewhere, Midlakes boys lacrosse earned a strong win behind balanced scoring and double-digit saves in goal, and Wayne flag football pitched a shutout, highlighting a day filled with standout individual efforts and commanding team performances across the board.

Keira Weber dominated in the circle, striking out 15 and allowing just one hit over five innings. Gabby Aunkst and Peyton Bonnell each drove in four runs, while Rylee Richardson led the offense with four hits as the Lions piled up 13 hits overall and built an early lead with a big first inning.
