Cayuga County’s top prosecutor is getting a raise whether local officials like it or not, according to The Citizen.
District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci will see her salary increase this year under a state mandate that sets minimum pay levels for DAs across New York.
The change ties local salaries to broader state standards, limiting how much counties can adjust pay. The increase comes as local governments juggle tight budgets and rising costs.
