A Canandaigua woman was taken into custody following an investigation into an incident where two young children were left alone in an unsecured apartment, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Teah Leann Lee, 31, was arrested April 6 in the Village of Naples on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies said the charge stems from an April 1 incident in which children ages 9 and 5 were left unattended inside an apartment with the door ajar and unsecured.
Lee was taken into custody without incident and issued an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to answer the charge in court at a later date.
The investigation was conducted by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
