A Seneca Falls man is facing multiple charges after police said he was driving erratically and resisted officers during an arrest.
The Seneca Falls Police Department reported the arrest of Patrick D. Vannelli, 51, following a traffic stop on April 1.
According to police, officers observed Vannelli make an improper turn into the wrong lane before swerving between multiple lanes of traffic. Following a roadside investigation, officers determined he was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
Police said Vannelli resisted arrest, pulling away from officers and attempting to walk off while refusing to comply with lawful orders. Authorities added that he continued to be uncooperative during processing at the police department.
Vannelli was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, improper right turn, failure to use a designated lane, and unsafe lane movement.
He was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center and is being held pending arraignment.
