Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union will host free community shred events at four locations in late April and early May.
The events will allow residents and businesses to dispose of sensitive documents through on-site shredding services.
Shred days are scheduled for April 25 in Geneva and Fairport, and May 2 in Phelps and Webster. All events run from 9 a.m. to noon.
Participants may bring items such as bank statements, tax records and medical paperwork for disposal.
Organizers said no appointment is required, and service will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Events may end early if shredding trucks reach capacity.
