Deadheads will get a symphonic spin on classic hits this summer, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. The Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration is set for Sept. 1 at CMAC.
The concert honors 60 years of the Grateful Dead and Garcia’s legacy. It will feature orchestral versions of songs like “Ripple” and “Casey Jones,” alongside longtime collaborators and guest musicians.
The show joins a packed CMAC lineup that includes major acts throughout the summer. Tickets go on sale March 27 at noon.
