The Buffalo Bills made a series of low-risk roster moves Thursday, signing veteran linemen Lloyd Cushenberry III and Austin Corbett along with wide receiver Trent Sherfield Sr. to one-year deals, adding experienced depth across the offense.
Cushenberry brings the most starting experience of the group. The 6-foot-4 center started all 23 games he appeared in over the past two seasons with Tennessee after opening his career in Denver, where he played in 57 games across four years. The former third-round pick out of LSU provides another option in the middle of the offensive line.
Sherfield returns to Buffalo after a brief stint in 2023, when he totaled 11 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. The veteran has bounced between multiple teams and practice squads over the past two seasons, but has shown value as a depth receiver and special teams contributor, including a 30-catch season with Miami in 2022.
Corbett adds versatility to the offensive line, with experience at both guard and center. He spent the past four seasons in Carolina, making 37 starts in 39 appearances, and previously started along the interior for the Rams during their Super Bowl LVI run. A former second-round pick, Corbett gives Buffalo another experienced option up front.
