A cardiology practice affiliated with Geneva General Hospital is now seeing patients in Seneca Falls.
Dr. Rawa Sarji, a fellowship-trained and board-certified cardiologist, is providing care at Lifecare Medical Associates in Seneca County.
Geneva General Cardiology Associates added the Seneca Falls location as part of its physician network serving patients across the region.
Sarji has more than 20 years of experience treating coronary heart disease, arrhythmias, ectopic heartbeats and other cardiac conditions.
She completed a general cardiology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and an internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center at Columbia University.
Sarji earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury.
She holds board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiology, the National Board of Echocardiography, the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and the Certification Board of Cardiac Computed Tomography.
“Seneca County residents deserve access to cardiology care locally. By providing cardiology services closer to home, we’re helping neighbors, friends, and family members get the care they need without the burden of long travel or delayed treatment. When cardiology care is local, people are more likely to seek preventive screenings, keep follow-up appointments, and stay connected to ongoing support. This is about strengthening the health of the entire community and making sure no one is left behind when it comes to matters of the heart,” said Andre Forcier, assistant vice president of the physician network.
Geneva General Cardiology Associates also operates locations in Geneva and Penn Yan.
