Williamson man charged with robbery

A family dispute in Williamson led to a robbery arrest Wednesday evening.

Tyson J. Faniel, 31, of Arrowbend Drive, was arrested by Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies following an investigation into a reported family trouble incident.

Deputies said Faniel is accused of stealing money and physically assaulting a female victim during the incident.

He was charged with robbery in the third degree and harassment in the second degree.

Deputies took Faniel to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and then transported him to the county jail.

He was held to await CAP arraignment scheduled for 7 a.m. March 12.

Faniel will appear in the Town of Williamson Court at a later date for additional proceedings.
