A swamp full of fairy-tale characters will take the stage as Sodus Central School presents “Shrek the Musical” this week, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Performances are set for 7 p.m. March 12 and 13, with a 2 p.m. matinee March 14 in the junior/senior high school auditorium. Tickets cost $10 online or at the door.
Students say the production features colorful costumes, frequent set changes and plenty of teamwork. The school’s award-winning music department helped bring the popular animated story to life on stage.
