Students at Marcus Whitman High School will bring a classic fantasy story to the stage later this month.
The Marcus Whitman High School Drama Club will perform the musical “Tuck Everlasting” March 20–22 in the school auditorium in Rushville.
Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on March 20 and 21, with a 2 p.m. matinee on March 22 at the high school auditorium, 4100 Baldwin Road.
Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Prices increase by $2 at the door. Pre-sale tickets are available through March 18 by contacting Jessica Rhodes.
The musical follows Winnie Foster, a young girl who meets Jesse Tuck and discovers his family’s secret: a magical spring that grants immortality.
The production stars Keziah Moore as Winnie Foster and Jaxson Willemsen as Jesse Tuck. Other cast members include Adeline Dickmann, Gretta Webster, Shiloh Dailey, Lachlan Dickmann and Jace Mumby.
Simon Virkler plays the Man in the Yellow Suit, while Klaire Havens and Cam Gardner portray Constable Joe and Hugo.
Additional cast members include Cole Milliman, Daniel Smith, Elaina Smith, Dylan Westermann and Ryleigh Wolf.
The show is directed by Jessica Rhodes, with music direction by Corrine DeRue and Polly Simmons and choreography by Erin Altman.
