Deputies arrested a Middlesex man after investigators said he stole money from another person at a business in the Town of Tyre.
Timothy Lafler, 64, of Middlesex, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
The arrest happened around 6:18 p.m. Feb. 22, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the charge stems from an incident the day before, Feb. 21, when Lafler allegedly stole $500 from another individual at a local business in Tyre.
Deputies processed Lafler at the Seneca County Correctional Facility and released him with an appearance ticket.
He is scheduled to appear in Tyre Town Court on April 28.
