Marion man arrested after protection order violation

Police arrested a man after a domestic incident early Thursday on Hennessey Road in the Town of Ontario.

Ronald F. Bishop, 44, of Huntley Road in the Town of Marion, faces charges of second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt.

Deputies said the charges stem from a domestic incident reported around 4 a.m. on March 6. Investigators said Bishop made verbal threats to his boyfriend during the incident.

Authorities said the threats violated an order of protection issued by the Town of Walworth Court by Judge Arline Hanna.

Deputies took Bishop into custody and transported him to the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held awaiting CAP court.
