Seneca Falls charged with meth possession

Police arrested a Seneca Falls man after investigators said he was found with methamphetamine during a separate police interaction.

Matthew Coe, 38, of Seneca Falls, was charged March 4 with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony.

Police said officers were speaking with Coe about an unrelated incident when further investigation determined he was illegally in possession of methamphetamine.

Coe was taken into custody, processed and later released on an appearance ticket.

He is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
