A new Chipotle restaurant could replace the former Imperial Kitchen Buffet in the Village of Lansing, according to The Tompkins Weekly.
Developers plan to demolish the building at 11 W. Graham Rd. and construct a new location of the fast-casual chain. The Village of Lansing Planning Board unanimously approved the site plan and demolition request during its Feb. 24 meeting.
If built, the restaurant would be the second Chipotle in Tompkins County. Plans include a “Chipotlane” drive-thru pickup lane for online orders, along with landscaping and site improvements.
