The Cayuga County Clerk’s Office closed to the public Wednesday after Cayuga Community College suspended operations for the day.
The closure affects in-person services at the county clerk’s office for March 4. Officials said the office expects to reopen for normal operations Thursday morning.
While the building is closed, staff remain available to assist residents remotely during the day.
Clerk Kristine Lytle said the closure is temporary.
“We appreciate the community’s patience as we observe this brief closure. Our team will be back in the office and ready to serve the public during our normal business hours on Thursday morning,” Lytle said.
Officials plan to resume in-person transactions when the office reopens Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
