A search warrant tied to a firearm burglary investigation led to the arrest of three Steuben County men and the recovery of five guns, authorities said.
Deputies executed the warrant Sunday at a residence on Oldfield Court in Bath following an investigation into a burglary and theft of firearms in the Town of Thurston.
Investigators recovered five firearms and several pieces of glassware during the search. The glassware had been reported stolen to New York State Police in a separate case.
Authorities charged David W. Sullivan, 39, reported homeless in Bath, and Michael E. Ogden, 35, of Addison, with conspiracy in the fourth degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, burglary in the second degree, grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.
Alec L. Bowen, 31, of Bath, faces charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, burglary in the second degree, grand larceny in the fourth degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.
All three were arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court. Sullivan and Bowen were held on $5,000 bail. Ogden was held without bail.
The Village of Bath Police Department and New York State Police assisted in the investigation.
