Police arrested a woman Tuesday afternoon after investigating the theft of prescription medication from a local workplace.
Vanessa R. Putman, 48, of Savannah, was taken into custody at 2:47 p.m. Feb. 24 following the investigation, according to the Seneca Falls Police Department.
Investigators determined Putman stole prescription drugs from her employer while she was working, police said.
Officers charged her with one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Police issued Putman an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
