Flames collapsed the roof of a Horseheads business plaza Thursday morning, damaging Dunkin’, Baskin Robbins and Your CBD Store, according to the Elmira Star-Gazette.
Crews responded around 5:15 a.m. to 3317 Chambers Road and found heavy fire tearing through the building. Big Flats Fire Chief Dave Sultman said no one suffered injuries, but officials closed part of Chambers Road and nearby Arnot Mall parking as firefighters battled the blaze.
About seven departments assisted at the scene and remained there for hours. Investigators have not determined a cause and continue to examine what sparked the fire.
