Bath woman faces drug charge after traffic stop

A traffic stop on West Morris Street led to a drug charge for a 27-year-old Bath woman Wednesday evening.

Miranda B. Neally, of Bath, was charged after Village of Bath police said officers observed a violation of state vehicle and traffic law at about 7:06 p.m. Feb. 25.

During the stop, officers determined Neally was in possession of suspected methamphetamine, according to police.

Neally was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor, along with a traffic citation.

She was transported to the Bath Police Department, where she was processed and issued an appearance ticket.

Neally is scheduled to appear in Bath Village Court at a later date.
