Police took a Hornell man into custody on an active arrest warrant tied to property damage at a local business.
Donald I. James III, 47, was arrested Feb. 22 on a warrant issued out of Penn Yan Village Court for third-degree criminal mischief.
Police allege James intentionally damaged property at a business in the village. He was taken into custody at the Steuben County Jail, transported to Penn Yan for processing, and then transferred to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
