A two-car crash on State Route 39 left one person dead Monday morning, according to WHAM. The collision happened in Geneseo between Country Club and Triphammer roads.
Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty confirmed the fatality but did not release the victim’s name. Authorities have not said whether anyone else suffered injuries.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash. Officials expect to release more details Tuesday as the investigation continues.
