Deputies say a shoplifting call at Eastview Mall ended with a petit larceny charge Saturday afternoon.
Laura Ivy Kondziela, 31, of Grand Island, faces a charge of petit larceny, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to Von Maur at 300 Eastview Mall Drive in Victor around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 21. Investigators say Kondziela concealed merchandise valued at $294 and left the store without paying.
Deputies apprehended Kondziela at the scene. Authorities later issued her an appearance ticket. She will appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
