Back-to-back losses to Duke and North Carolina have fueled fresh questions about Syracuse basketball’s future, according to CNY Central.
On the Orange Zone Podcast, former guard Eric Devendorf said the university should hire the best fit if it makes a coaching change, not simply someone from the Orange family. He said the right leader must attract NIL money, recruit top players and set the program’s mindset.
Syracuse sits 12th in the ACC, with the top 15 teams qualifying for the conference tournament March 10–14. The Orange close the regular season against Wake Forest, No. 21 Louisville and Duke, games that could shape both their postseason path and the conversation around the program.
