A traffic stop on Fitch Avenue ended with three people facing felony drug charges after officers say they found nearly 60 grams of cocaine.
Members of the Auburn Police Department stopped a vehicle on Feb. 21 on Fitch Avenue in the city of Auburn, according to a media release issued the same day.
Officers identified the occupants as driver Cal Rockwell and passengers Danielle Vallette and Kenneth Shelton.
As the investigation unfolded, officers found 58.5 grams of cocaine.
Police also found a quantity of U.S. currency and suspected drug packaging materials.
Investigators charged Rockwell, Vallette and Shelton each with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony.
Police transported all three to the Cayuga County Jail for CAP arraignment.
