Deputies charged a woman after a traffic stop on State Route 332 uncovered cocaine.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle around 10:23 p.m. on February 19 in the Town of Canandaigua for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.
During the roadside investigation, deputies identified the front seat passenger as Natasha M. Murphy, 34, of Newark. Further investigation revealed that Murphy possessed cocaine.
Deputies arrested Murphy and charged her with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. They issued her an appearance ticket, and she will appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
