Police arrested a Bath woman on an outstanding warrant after they say she admitted to kicking and damaging property at the Steuben County Office Building.
Elizabeth A. Northrup, 37, of Bath, faces one count of third-degree criminal mischief, a Class E felony, according to the Village of Bath Police Department.
Officers said they had contact with Northrup on Dec. 20, when she disclosed that she had kicked and caused damage to property at the county office building.
Police launched an investigation based on her statement and later located a damaged door at the Steuben County Office Building. Bath Village Court issued an arrest warrant charging her with criminal mischief in the third degree.
Officers arrested Northrup around 9:38 p.m. on Feb. 9 on the outstanding warrant.
Police processed her on the warrant and transported her to the Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment, where she remains held with the opportunity for bail.
