Webster man faces DWI charge after Canandaigua stop

A traffic stop for a missed turn signal ended with a Webster man facing a DWI charge.

William Stubbs, 57, was arrested after officers stopped him on North Main Street .


Police initiated the stop around 8:53 p.m. Jan. 28 after Stubbs failed to use his turn signal .

Officers say he showed signs of intoxication and they arrested him for Driving While Intoxicated .

Stubbs later secured release to a third party on an appearance ticket. He will return to City of Canandaigua Court at a later date .
