A construction vehicle turned dangerous in Bristol, leaving a 35-year-old man with serious injuries. Deputies later arrested a Honeoye man in connection with the incident.
Eric M. Button, 38, faces a charge of Assault in the Second Degree following the investigation, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say the case stems from an incident on Jan. 26 in the Town of Bristol. Authorities determined Button operated a track loader in a reckless manner, striking the victim and causing serious physical injury.
Deputies arrested Button on Wednesday, Feb. 10. He went through arraignment in the Centralized Arraignment Part and secured release on his own recognizance.
Button will appear in Bristol Town Court at a later date for further proceedings.
