A hit-and-run crash on Bristol Street ended with multiple charges.
Patrick W. Cuppernell, 57, of Canandaigua, faces charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree .
Police responded around 10:25 p.m. Feb. 3 after a report of a motor vehicle accident where a vehicle fled the scene .
Officers located Cuppernell a short time later. They found him intoxicated and placed him under arrest .
Following the arrest, officers found him in possession of a controlled substance .
Cuppernell later secured release to a third party on an appearance ticket. He will appear in City of Canandaigua Court at a later date .
