Taco Tuesdays pack the house again at Star Cider, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. The Canandaigua cidery brought back Mexican street food last fall, and customers quickly responded.
Chef Martín Castillo Lara now runs the kitchen, serving tacos, birria, burritos and nachos. The popular buy-two-get-one Taco Tuesday deal returned, along with Fish Fridays. Owners say the food revival has fueled new cider pairings, mocktails and family-friendly options like kids’ tasting plates.
Star Cider plans to keep the momentum going with Valentine’s Day dinners, themed “Girl Dinners,” trivia nights and monthly brunches featuring breakfast tacos and cider mimosas. The team says the goal stays simple: good food, creative drinks and a place where families feel welcome.
