The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl.
Authorities reported Israel “Izzy” Murinda missing on February 8. Deputies said family members last saw her around 5 a.m. that day.
Murinda is 15 years old and listed as a Black female. She stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds. She has brown eyes, long black hair, and a brown complexion.
Deputies said she was last seen wearing a black jacket and black UGG boots. Authorities noted that Murinda and her family recently moved from Rochester to Farmington.
The sheriff’s office said she has a history of running away and left the residence on her own.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office at 1-800-394-4560. People can also submit an anonymous tip through the Ontario County Sheriff’s website or the OntarioSheriffNY app.
