After just three years in business, Rebel Sailor Brewing Co. and Kitchen will pour its last pint Feb. 28, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
Co-owner Robert Payne and his partners opened the Route 21 brewery in 2023. It quickly became a staple at local events like Stout Month and drew fans with seasonal brews, including a honey-infused holiday beer made with honey from Shortsville Reindeer Farm.
The team plans food, drink and merchandise specials all month, plus a farewell celebration Feb. 27 and 28 to mark the brewery’s third anniversary. Owners thanked customers for their support and hinted this may not be a permanent goodbye.
