A traffic stop in the Town of Canandaigua resulted in drug-related charges.
Kenneth C. Patane, 34, of Clifton Springs, was arrested Feb. 9 after Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle on State Route 5 and 20 for multiple traffic violations.
During the roadside investigation, deputies identified Patane as the front-seat passenger. Further investigation revealed he was allegedly in possession of cocaine.
Patane was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree.
Deputies issued him an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
