Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Phelps man on an active bench warrant at the Ontario County Jail.
Kenneth Carl Niles, 35, was taken into custody Feb. 9 without incident, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
The bench warrant was issued by Ontario County Court after Niles failed to appear on driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation charges.
Niles remains held at the Ontario County Jail, where he will be arraigned and answer the charges.
