Deputies arrested a juvenile after a reported assault involving other youths in the Town of Ovid.
Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson said deputies responded to the incident around 11:07 a.m. on February 6.
Investigators determined the juvenile assaulted two other juveniles during the incident. Deputies took the juvenile into custody following the investigation.
The juvenile faces a charge of assault in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor. Deputies also charged the juvenile with attempted assault in the third degree, a class B misdemeanor.
The juvenile will appear in court at a later date to answer the charges. The sheriff’s office did not release additional details.
