The final full week of the high school basketball regular season tipped off Monday night, as the Wayne-Finger Lakes featured 15 games across the region. The top headline of the night came from the Bloomfield-Marcus Whitman girls game, where senior Calla McCombs poured in a career-high 32 points to lead the Bombers to a 19-point victory. With the performance, she became the all-time leading scorer in Bloomfield girls’ basketball history with 1,668 points, surpassing Jill Hammond. Meanwhile, the Lyons girls picked up their ninth straight win, cruising to a non-league victory over Monroe.
