Deputies arrest man on DWI charge after Farmington EMS call

Deputies arrested a man on a driving while intoxicated charge after responding to a medical call in the Town of Farmington.

Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an EMS call on King Hill Drive around 10:34 a.m. on February 7.

Investigators determined the man had driven to the residence before suffering a medical episode that prompted the 911 call. Deputies later identified the driver as Scott C. Thompson, 55, of Victor.

Deputies said Thompson operated a motor vehicle while intoxicated before arriving at the address. He was arrested and issued a uniform traffic ticket.

Thompson remained in the care of FF Thompson Hospital following the arrest. He is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
